Cannot record anything

Please I need some help, I followed all the instructions to set up the input source (I checked the stereo mixer box and try all other options) but cannot record anything, when I test the test recording level button the sound freezes to the maximum volume whatever the selection is. If I select "line-in" source DBpower detects a sound but very very low.

Does anyone has an idea?
