Trouble when start to burn MP3 CD

When I try to burn a MP3 format CD appears an error message: "The Drive Is Not Ready". This happens at the start of burning. I have a Pionner DVR-111D and XP OS. And I use sony CD-R 700 media cds. I've installed the registered version of Writer CD after unistall the trial one. Anybody know what is the problem? The layout of the cd was created with the trial version. May is this the problem?

Another problem is that when I insert a few songs in the layout cd, the program closes and I have to restart it to continue. This happens several times.

I'm lost. Can anybody find me?

First test would be to try a different cd media.
