    hi.

is it possible to edit the tags that dmc creates when you rip (i think they are called id3 tags)?

is it possible to use dmc to rip from cassette tape if you hook up a stereo to the audio in of the sound card?

    thanks.

Yes you can rename the tracks / artist / title in audio cd input before ripping, they are then written to the ID tag.

To edit tags of existing files, you need the 'Power Pack', right click on a file >> Edit Tag.

To record a cassette tape, install 'Auxiliary Input' add-on for dMC, it records from sound cards.

      thanks for the reply.
well, it seems like i can edit some of the tags that way, but i haven't had any luck editing the comment field. when i edit it, it just goes back to what it used to be.

Are they mp3 files? and if you hold the mouse over them (so get the yellow info) does it say it contains ID3v1 & ID3v2 tags?

Right, you need to look in Beta on this forum, there is a beta for a new mp3.dll here:

Install that to fix that bug.
