    Help: Can't convert AAC File

Hi. I just downloaded the AAC codec to convert an AAC file to MP3. The software recognizes the codec, but as I search for the AAC file the software doesn't seem to "see it" in the folder. I also checked through the file selector option and it doesn;t see the AAC file either. I re-booted after installation, so I know the codec is installed.

    Solutions?

    Thanks in advance.

    Mike

Where did your AAC file come from?
      Can you play this file?

Re: Help: Can't convert AAC File

AAC file came from a CD of a band called Madrid that I bought through iTunes. Codec installed great, but it just doesn't seem to read it. I downloaded the beta player you have as a link and it didn't read it through the player either. Regrets, I am a bit of a newbie for some of this.

        Thanks

The extension is probabbly .m4p which is protected and cannot be converted.
