Great, the free version worked perfectly, and now that I paid $14 to register and the convertor does not even see the CD. It just says "Insert Audio CD" even after I hit refresh. I downloaded the registered version on top of the free one using the link I was sent, and it did not work. Then I uninstalled and downloaded using the registered link - no go. Then I downloaded the freeware on top of the registered version - it still doesn't work but it does say it is registered. I have the freedb set to us.freedb.org and have it set to retreive files. Like I said, the freeware was working great, then it expired. I have the mp3 lame file installed. I am runiing WIN XP SP 2. What gives?

Your user account needs administrator access to read a cd drive.Comment

Re: Registered version does not see CD
Try clicking Options and next to the CD drive selection, click "Advanced". Try changing the Communication Option to "Windows Built-In (Limited)". If you do not see this as a choice, you need to upgrade to dMC r11.5Comment
