    I need help...pretty please!

I am getting aggravated. I have unistalled dbpowerAMP twice and reinstalled and i am still having the same problem. I
    t is telling me this....
The CODEC required to compress 'C:\Documents and Settings\Natasha\My Documents\My Music\New Converted\107-paul_wall-sittin_sideways_(feat._big_pokey).wav' could not be opened.

This is when I try to convert a mp3 to a wav. I am sure I will have to download a codec, but it doesn't tell me which one.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What are the specs of the mp3 (bitrate, frequency, channels) and what kind of wav did you select for your output (with all specs)?

The one I tried yesterday is Bit-204, Frequency-44100, Channels-2 and the wav I selected was MPEG Layer 3,18kbit/s, 11,025 Hz, stereo.

There will be a problem with the wave acm compressor, if you tried a normal uncompressed wave (PCM) I am sure it would work. It is a good test to try.
