I have codecs installed for .ogg and .m4a and yet dbpoweramp converter does not allow me to view these audio files when I browse to them. Is it not possible to convert these files with dbpoweramp?

Re: cant convert ogg or m4a
Yes it is, as long as the files are valid music files. Check dMC Configuration (Start --> Programs --> dBpowerAMP Music Converter --> Configuration --> dMC Configuration) and do a "Copy to Clipboard" and paste the results here. This is to make sure that dMC sees the codecs.
Also, one more idea. If you installed one of the aoTuV Ogg Codecs, you must install the normal Ogg Vorbis codec to get both tags on your converted files and the ability to decode .ogg files. The same goes for .m4a: You must download the top codec from the .m4a/.mp4 codec page to be able to decode and tag files of this type. -
Re: cant convert ogg or m4a
I don't see a button to Copy and ctrl+c does nothing in config. But ogg vorbis and mp4 aac are both on the codec list in config.
Any more ideas?Comment

You might have an older version of the converter.Comment
