Converting fails after approx 5 albums

I need to convert 25Gb of my .m4a files from a seagate external usb drive to my laptop (dell inspiron 1300 Celeron M) in Ogg Vorbis format.
I tested everything with a few cd's and it all worked great, so I opened file selector and clicked the folder containing all the files set the destination and off it went no problem. 3 hours later I was checking the destination folder and all seemed OK however when I opened the folder it was empty apart from the track names - only the first 5 albums were successfully converted the next 20 all had zero data apart from the track names!
I have a registered copy of R11.5 with power pack and Ogg Vorbis aoTuV b4 SSE2.
I have read the help and checked the settings which seem to be fine, I have 45 Gb free space on my hard drive (XP) - can't understand why it stops after 5 albums - all of the files are .m4a
    Please help.

Try converting to mp3 as a test. (it will narrow down what is wrong)

Re: Converting fails after approx 5 albums

I am currently 10 albums into my conversion run using the standard Ogg Vorbis R13 codec instead of the aoTuV b4 SSE2, all seems to be working fine although at this rate it says I have 49 hours to go before completion!
I just had a concern that my intel celeron M was struggling 'cos the laptop is the bottom of the range - I wonder if it is a flash memory problem.
      Anyway I'll keep you posted.
      Cheers,
