Is it possible to not use the m4a container ?

First, thank you for this wonderful tool that allow me to convert all my mp3 tracks into m4a tracks for my ipod :D
M4A container is cool when you need to put tags on your tracks, but when it's a film soundtrack you don't need it.
So here is my question:
Is it possible to configure the faac encoder to not insert the aac track into a m4a container ?

Hi Chronos...

I think the AAC codec listed on Codec Central further down the page is what you want.

AFAIK, FAAC always puts things in a mp4 container (could be wrong though :D )

I just need to know how to configure it.

There is a codec on the m4a codecs page that is to put a m4a file in an aac container or vice-versa. See the bottom codec here: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central-mp4.htm
