Aux Input Auto start/stop

I have set the auto start and stop levels.. and ticked their boxes... and as the help files says "wait for the ready to record box to appear"..

but it does not appear.. what do I have to do?

Perhaps there is too much noise and it starts recording straight away?

Hi there..
Sorry my fault.. I was expecting to see a different dialogue box from the regular 'recording' screen...

I will have to use my eyes for looking next time...
