    Can Napster be OGG friendly?

I want to get some music from Napster, but I prefer ogg files. Am I correct in my understanding that I can't convert either mp3 or wma files to ogg without loss of quality due to the lossy to lossy conversion? Is there no way out of this downward spiral? Is Napster off limits?

lossy to lossy = no way of getting lossless quality

As for acquiring Ogg Vorbis files, just look at other programs. I cannot refer you to any off the top of my head for some reason... You could try buying CD's or using iTunes... Or, uh... I can't think of anything else.

If you use iTunes 5.x to purchase music, you can easily use a program such as JHymn to unprotect the song and then easily convert it to your desired format.
