    Convert to MIDI............

Someone asked for it, so here it is.........

    AMAZINGMIDI

AmazingMIDI automatically transcribes music, converting WAV files into MIDI files. It can recognize single-instrument polyphonic music. It's a tool to help you to transcribe music, to practice musical instruments and to make MIDI files, and so on. (724KB)

Indeed but the results are very poor, not anything to rely on. They can only serve as an indication, to transcribe very roughly a melody and maybe start working from there with different midi software.

You will never get a nice midi equivalent of your favorite tune.

As Christina says, it won't come out nice[ly]. It's best if you do the operation manually using alternative software, no offense.

        Welcome to the forums
The alternative software to use isn't the problem - what's needed is to either be able to play a midi keyboard well enough to make a good sounding recording, or know enough music and theory to be able to write it out in full on a staff into a midi production program. Either way it's really for somebody with good musicianship.

It's just plain impossible to produce midi from audio which would be good enough to replace the audio file. The opposite is a piece of cake however.
