Wav. to Mp3.

When trying to convert my wav. files to mp3. files and error comes up saying.
"The CODEC required to compress,could not be opened." Does anyone know how to fix this??

We need some more information:
What version of Winodws are you using?
What version of dMC are you using?
What are the specifications of your WAV files (16-bit? 24-bit? Frequency? channels?)?
What are the desired settings for your mp3 files (bitrate, channels, frequency)?

And the most important one: is your version of dMC registered or at least an unxpired trial copy?

I use the older version of dmC Music Converter (dMC r9a) and copy the Lame codec v3.96 to the plugin folder.
Works great.
