I just downloaded the converter. Want to convert Winamp files to WAV or WMA. When I click on a Winamp (AAC extension) file, Converter tells me I need to download AAC codec. I follow links and download and install. Converter apparently does not recognize the AAC codec install. I go back to try to convert and again tells me to download AAC codec. I have now done this three times. Why does converter not recognize the installation of the AAC codec? Is there any other trick to converting Winamp file to another format?

Re: AAC Codec
Download the first (452KB) codec on this page, then the specific AAC Codec (537KB).
You have to install the codecs to the same directory, and install all codecs and dMC itself while you have Administrator rights.Lt. Data
