sound jumpy

after I have converted to wav file I try to play and the sound fades in and out very fast..................jumpy.............no good.........help

You have to be a lot more specific:

1) what format was the input file - with all its specs
2) what type of wav did you convert to - all the specs
3) OS you have
4) version of dMC you have - from dMC Configuration
