Audio Quality - presets

Hi

I have some questions :

1. Are there any presets for converting a mp3 to obtain a better quality ?

2. When I convert a mp3 192kbps to 320kbps, is the result the same ? Or is there some quality lost ???

You cannot improve quality. Any conversion to and between lossy formats (mp3 is lossy at all bitrates), even if it is to go to a higher bitrate than the original, in fact involves an additional loss of audio quality, though you may not actually notice it. There's no advantage in doing thatm all you'll end up getting is a much larger file for no benefit at all.
