    Wav MPEG Layer 3 problems

    Hello

    I've a problem with wav mpeg layer 3 files. I can create these files but i can't play them with winamp. It's working with the media player from windows but not with winamp. So what can i do?

        What happens if you want to open the files in Winamp? any error message?

          if i open any wav mpeg layer 3 file no error message appear and no music is playing. the display shows only the name of the wav.

            It must be prlem with your Winamp installation or the settings you have, if you say you tried the tips given in that forum with no luck.

            Reinstall Winamp maybe.

              in winamp.. make sure you have in_wave.dll
              and you also need to have an mp3 acm codec ACTUALLY installed on your system

              either l3codecp.acm/l3codeca.acm or lameacm.acm should be able to do it

              check in your registry and make sure you have one installed if you think you do have one... and rebooting can help sometimes
