Music Converter Resizes My Screen Resolution

I currently have a widescreen monitor that I run at 1680x1050 pixels screen resolution, the highest resolution possible. Whenever I run dbpoweramp music converter 11.5, it automatically resizes the screen resolution down to 800x600 pixels, the lowest screen resolution possible. As soon as I close the program the resolution goes back to what I originally had.

Is there any way to fix dbpoweramp so that it doesn't downsize my screen resolution every time I start it?

I cannot think of anything 'standard' dbpoweramp uses would do this, perhaps using a directsound plug in or winamp plugin?

It sounds like you are running the program in compatability mode. Go to your dMC install directory (by default C:\Program Files\Illustrate\dBpowerAMP\) and right-click on the MusicConverter.exe program and select Properties. Click the compatability tab and make sure all of the boxes are unchecked. Click OK and see if you can run the program now. Do the same for CDGrab.exe, which is Audio CD Input.
