Help Please

The CODEC required to decompress 'C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Desktop\David Lee Roth - Power Twins 12.20.86 Los Angeles, CA\[D1-01] Shy Boy.flac' could not be opened.

when i try to convert flac to mp3, or wav, or even test i get this message .
could somebody PLEASE help me out here, i dont know what i am doing wrong, and yes i have downloaded the flac codec, any feedback would be greatly apreciated beacuse i got about 20 cds i want to convert and thats the only thing stopping me . thanx

It sounds like your path is too long. Try moving your file to C:\ and try to convert it then.

Does the length of the path or file make a difference? I remember I had a similar problem with monkeys audio and it wouldnt convert into mp3 because of the same error.

Well since the path to the file is so long, that would be the first thing I would try.
