I installed the converter but it is not showing up when I want to edit a song or convert it. it just shows that I have it installed on my computer. How can i get it to load?

In dMC Configuration (one of the programs) you have to enable popups and right click integration. The when you use Windows Explorer you can right click any audio file (for which you have decoding codecs) and select Convert To.
Or you start the program directly from Start>Programs>dBpowerAMP Music Converter and use its own browser to find the files you want to convert.
