Well, I made as you instruted:

      - Convert to a MONO 44.1Khz

      - Run DMC with this file to convert to audio CD - The same error as in the MONO 8K.

As the previous test are showing until, the problem is with MONO. I didn't find thorugh any test any relation with frequency.

Question: Will the conversion work if you convert to a stereo 8KHz 16-bit WAV and then to a mono or stereo 8KHz mp3?

        Data,

The convertion works if I convert first the MONO file to any STEREO file, but this is only for MP3 file.

In case of WAV file I can convert the MONO 8khz file directly to MP3 without errors. For make 2 steps I can do as I am doing, converting from MONO wav to stereo mp3 (1st step) and from mp3 to audio CD (2nd step).

Then you try to first convert the frequency to 44.1KHz and leave everyhtign else" as source". Next step convert to stereo and leave everyhting else as source. The last step convert mp3 to wav (or burn to audio cd ), but now both have the same frequency and channels.

I don't know what else to tell you. It's trial and error sometimes.
