I've been able to get this program to convert .aa (Audible.com) files into MP3 files. But my MP3 player has a limited memory. I want to convert the one *.aa file into two MP3 files, to place them in different memory sites. Can this be done? Thanks for the help offered to a newby.

Re: Splitting an .aa file into two mp3 files
You can manually use the Trim DSP effect, but unfortunately this has to be done twice: Once to cut off the end, once to cut off the beginning. With dMC r12, there will be an easier way to split MP3s using dMC.
Until then, you can convert your .aa file to .mp3 and then use the free program Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) to split the file where you want to. -

You could try using this new codec currently undergoing beta testing http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=10112
