Long File Name causes convertor to crash

One some of my songs, it has a very long file name. When i open it up in the convertor, it appers that it is converting. Then after a mintue or two, the convertor just disappers without converting. Once i change the file name to something short, like track1. Everything works as normal

What version of the converter are you using? Version numbers are found in dMC Configuration which is in Start Menu --> Programs --> dBpowerAMP Music Converter --> Configuration --> dMC Configuration. The latest version is dMC r11.5 and can be installed directly over your current version.
Are there any non-ASCII characters in the filename?
Can you paste the filename here?

Will be sorted in R12 (it can have filenames upto the limit of 32,000 unicode characters).
