    .mid File Ext

    where is the codec for a .mid music so that way i can convert it to an .mp3 format? thanks!

    Midi is not an audio format. it is a set of instrucitons that get interpreted by a specialized program and rendered as sound of varying qualities depending on the soundcard used. You can only record the sound produced as the midi file is played by a player capable of playing midi by using a program such as dMC Auxiliary Input which takes the sound from the soundcard.
