right clicking in Windows Explorer; doesn't work

    Hi

Not sure if this is a setting thing.

When I right click I get the "Convert" and "Edit Tag" in the Windows Explorer menu...i then select the menu and nothing work activates.

I did do the following..from another thread but with no luck
I mistakenly updated iTunes. Then removed it and installed an older version so I could convert files to MP3. Apparently, at some point dBPoweramp was affected by this change, as I can no longer right mouse click on an MP3 file and edit it's tag info. Any help would be appreciated.

    I rebooted after that...

Here are my settings from the config menu.....

Re: right clicking in Windows Explorer; doesn't work

You're a few versions behind with the converter as you're still using dBpowerAMP Music Converter: Release 10 Beta 3.

We are now at release 11.5 and a new one is just aroudn the corner.

Especially since yorus is already registered, you should update the converter. Download the latest version from http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm . Install it on top of what you already have, without uninstalling first, to preserve registered status.

Make sure you are signed in as admin when you install and that you install to the same locaiton wehre you installed before. You also need to be an admin (or with admin priviledges) to run the programs.

Re: right clicking in Windows Explorer; doesn't work

You got anything installed such as Windows Blinds or some other strange application?

Or are you running 64-bit Windows?

          Thanks again!

Shell Toys was the culprit....blew that away and it works fine now.

Here is a link to my right Click Menu's

          Before

After - that's more like it!
