I have had the music converter for years and have purchased the registered version. I was happy with its performance up untill yesterday. the music converter continued to crash and displayed a message that said " cannot find 'libsndfile.dll'. re-installing might solve the problem. I have tried time and time again and to no avail. can you please help me?

Re: problems with libsndfile.dll
I think you may have some malware that has sneaked onto your computer.
Or it's coming form another product you may have. I see reference of that in conjunction with Winamp skins, does that ring a bell?
Or soemthing to do with Messenger Plus.Last edited by ChristinaS; March 11, 2006, 09:08 PM. -

Re: problems with libsndfile.dll
I don't know what the problem is. What did you install or upgrade just before you started having those problems in dMC ?
From what I know (what I have on my machine) there's no such file involved in dBpowerAMP - or none that came with it and I don't have any such file on my machine at all. So it has to be related to soemthing else. Google brings up references to winamp (modern skin??), also messenger plus.
Why this should happen when you use dBpowerAMP programs, I have no idea. Unless you're trying to use something like the winamp input adapter which I don't have.Last edited by ChristinaS; March 11, 2006, 10:21 PM.Comment

Re: problems with libsndfile.dll
No standard dbpoweramp stuff uses that dll, but perhaps the winamp input adaptor would.Comment
