    Auxiliary Input doesn't work...

"The CODEC required to decompress '\\Aux\Trackxx.aux' could not be opened."

Where's the problem? Is there a CODEC I should download ans install? If there is, where can it be downloaded? Or, is this a bug I just have to evade somehow?

What and how are you trying to do this? You shoudln't be getting this at all.

Did you select the file type you want to record to?

Did you follow the instructions for dMC Auxiliary Input volume controls and recording source? http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=7318

Just means it cannot open the sound card, perhaps too high a frequency or bits.

        Re: Auxiliary Input doesn't work...

Two other factors are known to produce this error message.
One is that Auxilary Input cannot record to 24 bit.
The other is selecting the wrong input source.

For a more thorough description of a similar problem and how we went about isolating and resolving the problem see: http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=9058
Please read this thread all the way through.

        Hope this helps.
If it does not, please post back with specifics as to your recording input settings and and your settings (format, bits, bitrate, frequency, channels) you are using for your recorded output files.

        Best wishes,
        Bill
