Does the option "ID3v2 & ID3v1" write in Unicode?

I want ID3v2 to be written in Unicode, but I also want ID3v1. Does the option "ID3v2 & ID3v1" (it's the only option for both ID3's) write ID3v2 in Unicode? There's an option called "ID3v2 Unicode" which explicitly says it's using Unicode, but it won't write any ID3v1 information. :(

I don't believe ID3v1 supports Unicode

That might be true, I just wonder if this option uses Unicode for ID3v2 or if the only option that uses Unicode is the option "ID3v2 (Unicode)", which doesn't write ID3v1.

edit: Though, it might be pointless to write certain foreign letters in Unicode ID3v2 while ID3v1 tags become distorted.

Most likely, it either writes a Unicode ID3v2 tag and no ID3v1 tag, or writes the Unicode ID3v2 tag and gibberish to ID3v1. Anyone know for sure?

It will write:

ID3v2 as unicode
ID3v1 as ANSI

Same sort of thing, Ansi is knownas that because it is an ansi character standard.
