MusicConverter.exe crashes from m4a to mp3

When I click on "Convert Now" I receive the following message:

"MusicConverter.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close".

Then it crashes and I'm not able to convert the file. I did install the 3.7 version of Lame and I still receive the same error. Is there something that I missed?

You installed the 3.97 version? Did you pick one of the presets? The presets for 3.97 are different from the presets from the included 3.9x (forget the exact version).

Can you convert this file to WAV or another format?
