pop at very beginning of song using aux dmc

I been using aux dmc to rip songs in analog from my minidiscs. 99% of time there is a little pop at very beginning of song on playback.Currently i'm using a program to edit it out which is time consuming. Do i need to adjust a setting or is this just the way the aux dmc program is. Thanks for any help!

Perhaps a problem with your sound card drivers?

You may want to start the recording through dMC Aux Input a second or 2 before you start playing the file.

Make sure you have no clicking sounds associated with various Windows functions like program star. Check in Control Panel > Sound and Audio Devices > Sounds. Disable those.
