can no longer open windows media or musicmatch

I installed dbpower software. After doing so, I could no longer open my Windows media player or MusicMatch Jukebox. I removed dbpower, but when I try to open WMP & MM, they just stall and freeze in mid-open. I have removed and re-installed both programs, but still they have the same problem.

I have now installed Win 2k Service Pack 3, in hopes this would remove the problem, but it still occurs.

Next thoughts were that I would have to reinstall the OS unless anyone had any other suggestions?!?

The only part of dBpowerAMP that might interact with these two other programs is the Windows Media Audio Codec, did you install that?
