Trying to convert but I get an error msg...

...that says "The file 'D:\Track01.cda' could not be opened.
Read Table of Contents failed - audio disc in drive?"

What do I do about this? I am trying to convert a .cda file (audio cd) to flac or shn or even wav.

    Any help would be great

    Thanks

You cannot convert a .cda file. You need to extract them by using dMC Audio CD Input.

You can actually use dMC for that, but you must first use dMC Audio CD Input in roder to configure it properly to work with the cd drive you have. For some cd's you need to turn off Detct Table of contents, and that's where you'd do it.

For ripping it's much better to use dMC Audio CD Input, since you have all the options there. dMC alone relies on the last options set in dMC Audio CD Input.

Where can I find the dmc audiocd input. Is it supposed to be int the dmc bundle? Thanks in advance

Check on your desktop or in the "dBpowerAMP Music Converter" folder in your Start Menu under Programs or "All Programs".

Thanks for all the help. I found the Audio CD input, but for some reason, it is not loading/responding. What can I do next? I even went as far as unistalling dbPower Amp and reinstalled it.

              Does anything pop-up?
Have you tried starting up Audio CD Input without a CD in the drive? Does it help?
What version are you using? Versions are found in the Start Menu under (All) Programs, then dBpowerAMP Music Converter --> Configuration --> dMC Configuration

If you are using dMC r11.5, try going into the installtion directory and moving the AccurateRip.dll to a different location and see if that helps.
