Well, maybe, but why don't you just try it? you have a 30-day trial period with full features available. You'll find out quick enough if it works or not for you.

After that you only ever need to register if you want to convert to mp3 and use some of the special features like DSP effects.

okay thanks i already purchased 2 of these babies for our office i wanted to purchase another and use it on the server though for the power cause i got 7 350GB drives to convert
