    .RMJ to mp3 conversion

I found a forum on this, read it all, and followed it as best I could with no luck.
Now I can't find the forum again!
    Reviewing its advice...

I DO have a current version of dbPowerAMP.
    I DO have Real Player.
I loaded and installed the codec regarding Real files.

I tried using MSExplorer to rename them as .ra, .rm. and .ram but
when I right click on these, none of them bring up the convert option.

When I try to go directly through dbPowerAMP, none of them show as valid music choices.

What am I missing in this conversion process?

Did you run dMC Configuration? you need to enable Windows Shell Integration in order to get Convert on right click.

You say you have the codec. There are 2 codecs: DirectShow - which requires Real Alternative and the filters - and disallows Real Player. The older real media codec requires Real Player and disallows Real Alternative. What did you install?

If you installed the DriectShow codec that requires filters as well to be enabled - a particular set of steps to follow and the last one is to run dMC Configuration.

Can you play those files? They are most lilely encrypted, so you will not be able to convert them in any case. If you can play them (which implies you have the necessary lciense to them) you cna burn an audio cd using Real Player and the rip the cd using dMC Audio CD Input.

Or play the files in Real Player and record them through the soundcard using dMC Auxiliary Input.
