    Odd behaviour during batch conversion

Yesterday, I used the File Selector to batch-convert a group of 15 files. It's the first time in 5 years with dMC that I've used this particular option, and the end results were great. (dB products all produce great results). But I was a bit puzzled when, at the end of each file converted, the on-screen display reverted to C:\Program Files\ Illustrate\dBpoweramp! Conversion still continued uninterrupted, with the percentage counter running in the taskbar. The conversion window was still displayed when I "red X'd" out of the dBpa window. Is this normal, or have I done something wrong? :( I'm running dMC 11.5 with Windows XP Pro SP2, as Administrator, and all other aspects of dMC are running normally.

Do you have the option turned on to add all files to MMC?

    Best wishes,
    Bill

Bill, thanks for your reply. If you are referring to the tick-box in the conversion window, then no, that is not ticked. I can't find any other selection options which might have a bearing on this issue. Let's be honest however, this is an annoyance, not a major problem, but I'd still prefer to be able to monitor progress of the conversion without having constantly to X out of other screen images.

      Regards,

      Tony

My theory is that this is probably a Windows Exploder (sorry, Explorer!) oddity of behaviour. Maybe Spoon has the answer, or at least, if he hasn't, then there's no solution! :(

Can you post a jpg image of your screen?

Spoon, thanks for your reply. I'll do this as soon as I have downloaded another album to convert - I have nothing in my files which is unconverted for the present, but this shouldn't take long.
