When using dBpoweramp Image Converter version 1 to convert an Image / Frame sequence from, say, TIFF to PNG, one may wish to crop portions of an image. Especially if we are talking about a 1.3 TB folder containing 180,000 16-bit TIFF files. While there is no Crop DSP Effect, there is a Canvas Size DSP effect, so one might assume setting the canvas size smaller than the image would result in a cropped image. Instead, setting the canvas size to be smaller than the image with the image position centered, results in an error.
Suggestion: Either implement a crop DSP Effect (more flexible solution) or have it so the Canvas Size results in an image crop if set to smaller than the image size (simpler and more elegant solution?)
Note: I noticed the same issue with the same Canvas Size DSP effect on the Video converter, I assume they are the same effect
Thanks!!!
