    Meta data

Does Image Converter have the option to remove the exif data from images?

      Re: Meta data

At the moment I am using faststone photo resizer, freeware with also a lot of options. Only thing missing (for me) is erasing the exif data. So I use exif purge for that, but it has a very annoying 5 second wait for each run to show adds. I would immediately buy your image converter if it contains exif erasing. Without that, I see no advantage over freeware like faststone.

Is removing exif data now part of the programm?

            Re: Meta data

To clarify this old thread, EXIF data is not currently preserved, we add an extra DSP effect for R2 which allows the data to be preserved.

              Re: Meta data

When converting *.jpg files to *.webP, preserving (Title, Subject, Rating, Tags, Comments) does not seem to work, although Preserve Exif Tags and Preserve Source Attributes is selected. Bug?

The Exif tags are valid only in Jpg, not webp, sorry.
