    Cd ripper settings?

Hi, I have just replaced my QNAP 212 with a new TS 233. I put the current hard drives in which only are for music storage & setting it with online help from QNAP , all good. My problem is this burning a cd is now just going to my desktop & not directly to new 233 & 2nd problem is when I open my NAIM app all the cd artwork is drunk. It’s all there just Johnny cash may now have depeche mode album artwork. Any help would be greatly appreciated . I am not very computer literate so keep it simple please. Regards to all responses.

The old nas must have had a network share, you new nas will also, use Windows File Explorer to find out what it is by browsing Network, then copy the path of this location to CD Ripper.

You cannot setup CD Ripper to rip to the new nas, until your system is set to access the new nas. AI to the rescue, once you have done this, your QNAP will be mapped to a drive letter, you can then select that drive letter in CD Ripper, you will want to :

To set up a network share on your QNAP TS-233 and map it in Windows 11,
first create the share in QTS (QNAP's OS), then use File Explorer to connect, entering your NAS IP/name and login details to assign a drive letter and access it easily.

Create the Network Share on your QNAP NAS (QTS)
          • Log in to QTS: Open a web browser and go to your QNAP NAS's IP address or name to access the QTS desktop.
          • Open Control Panel: Find and click the Control Panel icon.
          • Create Shared Folder: Go to Shared Folders, then click Create (or Create Shared Folder).
          • Name & Volume: Give your share a name (e.g., "MyFiles") and select the disk volume.
          • Permissions: Set user permissions (Read/Write is common) and click Create/Finish.

Map the Drive in Windows 11

          Using Windows File Explorer
          • Open Explorer: Open File Explorer and go to This PC.
          • Map Drive: Click the ... (See more options) menu at the top, then select Map network drive.
          • Enter Path: In the Folder field, type \\Your_QNAP_IP_Address\ShareName (e.g., \\192.168.1.50\MyFiles).
          • Credentials: Check "Connect using different credentials" if needed and enter your QNAP login.
Reconnect At Signin this remembers the connection even when the computer is rebooted.
          • Finish: Choose a drive letter and click Finish.

Now, your QNAP share will appear as a network drive in This PC for easy access!.
