Just trying upgrade to 2024 4 1 ripper

I was using 15.3 and it was ripping discs quickly. Not more than a few hours ago
Now I'm trying the upgrade to 2024-04-01.
It seems to take way longer to rip a disc. Seeming to hang at the end of a track for ages.
I tried switching to burst mode but the same result.

Ok I think I fixed the above. It would seem where I had been trying to get 15.3 to see gnudb. These settings for the proxy were carried over to the upgrade. As soon as I removed the proxy everything seems to be working fine. Although the freedb lookup takes a fair bit of time

Also do I need to upgrade? My old version said I had upgrades for life?

We never offered R15.3 Reference with upgrades for life.

In the freedb settings it should be set to:

gnudb.gnudb.org

I would not use any proxy settings unless your internet is limited.

Of course you are right. It was the perfect tunes that has the upgrades for life
