    Inaccurate (46)

Hi, I recently purchased from La La Land Star Trek: The Original Series the 1701 Collection Vol. 1. When I try to rip the CD into Apple Lossless every track comes up as "Inaccurate (46)". I have used dBpoweramp for years to rip my CD collection and have never had all tracks come up as "Inaccurate". One the rare occasion in the past when a track here or there would come up this way I would just re-rip. This is not working for this CD at all.

All of the settings a default except for the format for the rip and the location for the files to be deposited.

    Thank you for your assistance.

It means you have a different disc, or pressing to the one in AccurateRip, this can happen if they reissue a new pressing for a disc. Soon others will rip it also, your result, and theirs would create a new separate pressing within accuraterip for others to verify against in the future.

      OK, thank you.

So the "inaccurate" does not signify errors in the audio file then?

In this instance it does not, but it means AccurateRip could not verify the rip, so you rely on the drive to self detect errors and around 2% of errors are not detected.
