Interference from "Music"

When I try to rip a CD it starts OK then Music starts and errors are then reported with the rip being aborted. How do I stop Music interfering. (On a Mac with Ventura)

There is an option in Music to stop it auto importing discs.

Nope still interferes. Having paid £32 for a db update its appears unusable.

Insert CD, Music appears click the [x] in the corner to close it, then run dbpoweramp.

It is not dbpoweramp which is being unusable, it is music, which dbpoweramp cannot control, any other ripping app on the planet would have issues also.
