dbpoweramp doesn't work on Mac OS Ventura

I upgraded my iMac 2019 to Mac OS Ventura.
After that, dbpoweramp no longer recognized an external drive.
I bought the dbpoweramo upgrade for Ventura (26 euros) and that wasn't any help either.
dbpoweramp still doesn't recognize an external drive, not even the Apple super drive.
I would like my money refunded

I did the same. Upgrade to Mac Ventura and Dbpoweramp doesn't work. It got full access to Files & Folders, it reads the CD (Data, Tracknames etc.), but it doesnt rip or play the CD.

CD Drive: PIONEER - BD-RW BDR-UD04
MacBook Pro: Ventura 13.5

What can I do?

Try selecting Burst as the ripping method, does that work?

It's still not possible to Rip or playback a CD. I deinstalled twice and reinstalled DBPoweramp. When I go to Secure-Ripper-Options -> Drive Read Cache -> Detect: it says: unable to read audio cd, please check CD Drive, but the "Detect C2 capability" worked. When I try to playback a CD with VLC-Player, it works - same with Apple Music (Ripping + Playback). Does the PIONEER - BD-RW BDR-UD04 Drive not work with DBPoweramp?

No extra Security Software (except for Apple's own Security, i suppose). And I got Release 2023-06-26.

I am having same type of issue. Mac mini M1, 8GB. Ventura 13.4.1. Library is external usb ssd, set as library location in Apple Music. CD burner: ASUS BW-16D1 X-4. dbpoweramp version: 2023-06-26.Continuing problem with multiple "new" cd's (right out of box". dripper recognizes cd's,BURST or Authenticate Mode same results; BURST: Rip Status-CPU 1 17%, CPU2 11%,CPU 3 to 6 0%, program freezes, queued. Have to FORCE Quite. 6 months ago I ripped 1,500 cd's with 99% success rate. Are there issues with dbpoweramp (latest version) and OS Ventura 13.4.1. Do not have any issues ripping with Apple Music.

As join stated no "extra security features" dbpoweramp has full access in System Settings>Security and Privacy>File Folder access

Please go to dBpoweramp advanced settings / diagnostics and check [x] Write debug logs, then recreate the problem. Files named DBDebug-nnn.txt will be written to your Documents folder; please post their contents here, or email to peter@dbpoweramp.com for analysis.

I cannot find exact match for "ASUS BW-16D1 X-4". I assume it's one of the USB drives, can you please post a link to manufacturer's website for this exact model?

We do not recommend the Pioneer BDR-UD04 too many issues with this drive. It is good for reading DVDs and Blueray videos to computer, but not for ripping audio, replace with any $20 DVD drive and problems should go away.

ASUS-BW-16D1X-u, dbpoweramp shows ASUS Screenshot 2023-08-18 at 11.55.49 AM,program freezes, cannot access any function of program, grayed over. Screeshot included. Cannot open Reviews metadata of the currently inserted disc or Shows additional options, Eject disk also &*8220;frozen&*8221;/
