How to reset metadata cache for a CD?

I inserted a new CD to rip. The metadata showed the Composer as <Various Composers> and each track had the name of the composer, some the same, some different.

I deleted the <Various Composers> from the Composer field, and all the composer names went away.

I would like to get back to those, but I find no way to make the metadata appear as it did originally.

Anyone else with such an experience?

Edit: Nevermind. Restarting the program put it back.
