Probs after Windows 10 update

Strange one this...

Anyway windows did a update (win10) last night and since then i have a nightmare with dbpoweramp.


When i am ripping my cds instead of it ripping to Desktop\Rip\

it rips to Cesktop\Rip\ and any every letter D be it in the artist name or track title or the album title is replaced by a C

I have tried to change the folder in dbpoweramp to where i want it to rip and it resorts back to Cesktop

I have uninstalled the windows update and dbpoweramp and ran various virus and malware apps

i have then done a clean install of dbpoweramp and reconfigured everything

and it still rips to Cesktop\Rip\


Any ideas, would be appreciated

It will rip to Music folder with issues ie replacing the D with C etc, however if i try and change the folder back to desktop/rip it saves it cesktop/rip

Thing is i don't know how i sorted it, i ended up running a registry cleaner and removed some recently installed software, cant put my finger on the solution, ie i removed the windows updates etc and then virus and malware checked, cleaned the registry , uninstalled all aspects of dbpoweramp etc.

Following latest windows 10 update, CD rip invariably locks up and requires to be stopped through the Windows task manager.

Is anyone else experiencing similar problems or know of a solution to it?

If ripping to a network set the location to rip to as the local PC.

If ripping with secure mode, choose burst as a test.
