No Disc Inserted

Well I haven't ripped anything for about 2 months now so I started tonight again. Updated to beta 8 again, and again I got message "No Disc Inserted". Using MacBook Air. Yes I have an optical drive connected by USB. Reinstalled Beta 7 and everything works fine. Can't understand the purpose of these updates if they don't work. Frustrating.

That beta was quite old (we have unstuck the message in the forum), R2022-09-28 is the latest full release.
