    can you make CD Ripper start automatically when you put in a CD?

    Sorry you cannot, Batch Ripper was designed for that.

      {SOLVED} Thanks for this information. I did had a hope for one less click. Doesn't really matter when I ripped my 700 CDs.

        You can do it but it's more trouble and expense than you are likely to want to de3al with.

        I put a short cut to the CD ripper itself on my desktop. One click starts it. Swo more clicks to start a second instance (I could reduce that by one but the thing is on a dedicated computer, I start it in the morning and just let it run all day) I currently have 1,502 tracks From 290 disks. 1 click for almost every track, another for every disk and a keypress for almost every disk. So 1792 clicks and about 245 key presses. I am less than halfway dddone so double that to 3,584 clicks.

        Poweramp cost $39.00 so that's about a penny a click. Ain't gonna worry about an extra penny a a day, I loose more in the wash.
