Meta Data Doesn't Show Until Opening CD Tray

When inserting a CD to rip, the interface shows "Reading CD" but doesn't show any info until I hit the eject button on the reader. Then the song titles etc. pop up and I have to close the reader to rip. I have 2 different CD readers; Asus and Plextor. This just started recently. Windows 11 64bit Pro, 32GB Ram, fast Intel processor. Any suggestions how to track this down?

The CD drive is locking up and not returning a track listing. Try removing one of the two drives. Look in the BIOS how you have sata setup.

I will try it. Is there a way to clear the DbPoweramp cache to re-scan the same CD?
