Only half tracks tagged as HDCD

I just ripped Seven by Enrique Iglesias. I used the HDCD DSP effect tag.

The album has 15 tracks. 2 were tagged as HDCD. Which means 13 tacks ripped as 16bit, 2 tracks ripped as 24bit.

It it normal that part of the cd is tagged as HDCD.

There are CDs where only part of the CD is HDCD. Is is marked as HDCD on the disc cover?

No its not listed as HDCD.

I just found another one in my collection.
Bee Gees - Number Ones
Of the 20 tracks, 19 are 16bit, 1 is 24Bit.

It can be common, when making a new compilation, they take tracks from other albums.
