Dbpoweramp seems to have an issue reading this one album no matter what version I get

The album in question is train of thought by dream theater, I got it originally as part of a box set, it downloaded just fine, I then got the album again as a standalone cd and deleted the boxset download, when I tried to rip the standalone I got an error, this didn't happen with any of the other cds from the box set that I then deleted and got as standalone cds

and suddenly when I tried the box set cd again, it got the same error despite working the first time and there being an absolutely 0% chance of it being scratched or otherwise damaged

what's going on and how do I fix it
