I got 99.9% track quality and confidence says 65. That means 65 people got 99.9% too?

I got 99.9% track quality and confidence says 65. That means 65 people got 99.9% too?

I am using Exact Audio Copy, and I know track quality is just a ratio of the number of rereads the drive performed on a given track. This just piqued my curiosity.

The log file states that I produced 99.9% track quality on a track and the confidence for that track is 65. Does that mean 65 people produced 99.9% for that track as well?

No, the track quality means nothing in this instance, as AccurateRip verified it, so it is 100%

I think I get it but can you explain your response further?

no,it means that 65 other people got exactly the same results as you. that is exactly the same 100% digital data.

So, 65 other people achieved "99.9%" in the track quality stat and the same values in the other stats, therefore we all yielded 100% digital data. Is my understanding correct?

Forget about the track quality as Spoon said. It is accurate - the best you can get out of the CD.

Actually, I'm more curious about the meaning of the confidence stat than if the rip was accurate. I think I should have placed more emphasis on that. Does the confidence value at 65 means that 65 other people achieved 99.9% in the track quality stat and identical values in the other stats(Peak Level at 80.7% and Extraction Speed at X 1.5 etc.), which resulted in 100% digital data?

The EAC track quality stat has never made any sense to me. there's no such thing as 99% match. A track is either a match or it is not. (dbpoweramp rips don't report such statistics. (and of course dbpa creator is the inventor and maintainer of AccurateRip.)
